Why? 
  • Curiosity - Israelis are so curious, Don't be surprised when the taxi driver will ask you where are you from and how much you earn.
  • A culture that survives adversities and fights for its life for thousands of years had developed resilience. Bouncing back is part of the genes.
  • Jews have the highest ratio of comedians per capita. Using humor to defuse challenges and not taking it too hard. 
  • Failure is culturally acceptable.Giving up is not.
  • "Chutzpah" - the incredible guts to challenge almost anything and dare to think the unthinkable.
  • Israel is among the leading in government investment on R&D as a proportion of GDP.
  • Argumentative society. Since young, kids are encouraged to ask and explore. A typical question when the kid comes back home is "what did you ask today"
  • The army service adds leadership capabilities of dealing with crucial decisions in real time, face them and not giving up. 
  • Sense of pride in R&D not to give up on a problem. When facing a closed door, the Israeli engineer will look for the window, if the window is closed, he will clime up the roof and try to get in via the chimney.  . 
  • "Can do" attitude - "Ein Beayot - Yesh Pitronot"  - "There are no problems, there are solutions"
