Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese energy scholar, author and entrepreneur, best known for his claims that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water featured in the 2004 film.
In this rice experiment he further demonstrate that human thoughts and intentions can alter physical reality, such as the molecular structure of water and in this clip - rice. Given that humans are comprised with about 60% water, his discovery has far reaching implications.
We can't avoid negative thoughts and we should not because when we try to numb uncomfortable feelings we numb also joy. However, we should not dwell and get stuck in an endless nonconstructive loop of regrets, shame, and over self criticism.
This experiment shows that we need to be mindful of our thoughts and words. What are we doing to ourselves and others when we think and say negatively. This does not mean that we should not give constructive feedback, argue and debate.
It means that we should do it effectively without hurting ourselves and others. The experiment also emphasizes the universal need for recognition and connection.
The conclusion for me is to be healthier, I should avoid as much as it is humanly possible talking bad and having negative thoughts because of the toxic effect on my water and the people I love. I also need to be mindful not to ignore people and make a conscious effort to connect and exchange positive energy with them.
